[arasakadogs]

(she is close enough that he can smell the soap she used in the bath. oda considers her, considers all the reasons he should not. and yet...

oda leans in and slants his lips against sombra's. he tries not to make it too quick but he does not linger, either.)

How is that?

[la_sombra]

[Sombra follows him a little as he pulls away.]

Not bad.

[She considers for a moment, smiling.]

If I change into the sleep clothes, will you stay a little longer?

[arasakadogs]

("not bad" is not the evaluation he would hope for but oda admittedly is woefully out of practice.)

I should not, (he cautions, saying it aloud for himself more than for her. and somehow oda finds himself not leaving.)

[la_sombra]

[She ignores his caution and gives him a look, dark and inviting. Sombra is gentle in the way she puts a hand on his forearm.]

Stay.

[arasakadogs]

(for once he does not bristle; maybe it is the look in her eyes or the gentle manner in which she dares to touch him.)

...I will stay.

[la_sombra]

Good. [Despite herself, her answering smile is bright and pleased. She plays at being unfettered but the truth is she is lonely too. It's something they have in common, she suspects.]

A deal is a deal. [She takes the offered clothing at last.] I'll go change.

[arasakadogs]

(sombra's smile goes a long way towards making oda glad he had not denied her. oda nods, shooing her with one hand to the bathroom while he finds a seat.)

[la_sombra]

[At his shooing, she does move but sticks her tongue out at him - a brat even as she gets her way. Shutting the door to the bathroom behind her, Sombra slides out of the robe and preens a little in the mirror.

She is lucky to not have much in the way of scars, but can't help the little thrill that comes with the idea of Oda seeing more of her. Confident that he'll like what he sees regardless of how the rest of the evening may go, Sombra easily dresses in the shirt and sweats before returning to the lounge.

Approaching Oda with a smile, she sits in his lap as if she belongs there.]

[arasakadogs]

(immediately oda does not know quite what to do with his hands but he also comes to a realization:
he is at a crossroads. he can continue to be obstinate and make whatever this is miserable for both of them or he can go along with what ever she has in mind and find that they will both enjoy themselves. it does not have to mean anything, he need not overthink it.)

(easier said than done in his case but he is off the clock and free to do as he pleases.)

Are you comfortable? (he raises a brow, tentatively settling a hand on her knee.)

[la_sombra]

Very.

[The hand on her knee is a little relief. She sighs, glad that he did not bristle at her forwardness.]

You know, we should make sure some things are clear before anything else happens.

[arasakadogs]

(he nods in understanding, though the possibilities in the phrase "anything else" leaves him with a fluttery feeling in his stomach.)

Tell me.

[la_sombra]

Fun is nice, but I don’t wanna cross any real lines so you tell me to cool it - I’ll cool it.

[She relaxes a little more, leaning into him with a grin. Hand over his, she guides his touch further up her thigh.]

You have any rules?

[arasakadogs]

(again he nods in agreement:
fun and stress relief is all this need be. oda goes along with her hand's guidance and kneads lightly into her thigh with his fingertips.)

Personally, none spring to mind. My sole request is do not get...overly loud. (oda would be mortified if they were heard---especially by hanako.)

[la_sombra]

[Not that she was planning to be vocal, but Sombra immediately feigns innocence at his request.]

Oda-san, what do you have planned for me?

[arasakadogs]

(a small huff of exasperation proceeds anything else. it is true that nothing had been explicitly said oda knows she is teasing him. instead of actually answering, he raises his hand to her cheek, directing her towards him so he can kiss her again. there is more confidence behind it now that his mind has been made up.)

[la_sombra]

[His huff is greeted by a smile and Sombra chuckles as he leans in for the kiss. She opens to him willingly, pleased with his more confident action.]

[arasakadogs]

(it starts slowly as an exploration, tasting her lips and feeling her softness. oda tries not to question himself too much, kissing sombra more as they warm up.)

[la_sombra]

[His exploration earns a pleased hum. As they kiss, she leans into the planes of his body. He feels good, this moment feels good and Sombra feels herself growing greedy with each shared breath.

‘Wait’ she breathes against his mouth before shifting to straddle him, seeking closer contact. ]

[arasakadogs]

(when she breathes for him to wait, oda briefly wonders if he has done something wrong. sombra repositionins herself though and he is quick to kiss her again. his suit is beginning to feel more than a little stifling but he is not about to throw her off his lap for that.)

(hand tease at the hem of the shirt he had given her though. oda's fingertips graze her skin just beyond the fabric and he wonders if she would stop him.)

[la_sombra]

[The way his fingertips trace the shirt's hem makes Sombra chuckle again, smiling against his mouth as they kiss. She lifts the shirt, just enough for him to settle his touch on her skin, and when she breaks the kiss, there is a self-satisfied glint in her eyes.]

Maybe I should have stayed in the robe...

[arasakadogs]

Mm. It would have made this easier, (he chuckles but it does not last long, seeking her lips again and caressing her skin lightly.)

[la_sombra]

[They kiss for a moment longer, before Sombra breaks the kiss and nips his lip. She presses light kisses along his jaw, until she can whisper into his ear.]

Take this off.

[She tugs his suit jacket for emphasis before sliding out of his lap and giving him room to move.]

[arasakadogs]

(the nip has him getting riled up certainly and the kisses along his jaw where skin and ceramics meet is especially sensitive. still, oda does not protest sombra's demand and shrugs out of his suit jacket and unbuttons his dress shirt halfway.)

(the line of his endoskeleton extends past his collar down the his sternum. there are obvious augmentations but what sombra might find to be a surprise are his extensive traditional tattoos. vibrant chrysanthemums in cobalt and electric blues, rick black accents and arasaka reds. she surely can see the hints at his shoulders and chest, but he is covered to his wrist and across his back, down over his ass and stopping at the back of upper thighs. an oni takes centerpiece between his shoulder blades, to be discovered when he completely undresses.)

Better?

[la_sombra]

[As he slides off the jacket, she whistles appreciatively as yet another tease. Pleased with herself, Sombra’s smile shifts, brows skimming high on her forehead.

The tattoos are a surprise and her gaze flits over his form, trying to pick up as many details as possible.]

Nice work…

[It’s hard to tell if she means the augments or the ink before his question brings her attention back to him.

Instead of answering, she giggles a little and turns her back to him, making a show of lifting her shirt.

On her lower back, along her spine and either side are the beginnings of a piece made entirety of circuit lines.]

I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.

A fair enough trade. (oda resists the urge to reach out at trace the beginning of her own ink, his mind certainly wandering to imagine how extensive it is. he finishes with the buttons and untucks his shirt, all the while watching sombra.)
