(they walk together through the hotel perfectly designed in the arasaka aesthetic of sleek modernity and tradition. the closer they get to the onsen and spa tradition becomes more prominent.)

The changing rooms are separated by gender but we will reconvene.

[la_sombra]

Alright.

[With that they do separate. The staff is kind, at least, and helps Sombra with the 'how' of properly preparing for an onsen. After washing up and wrapping her hair in a bun, she enters the onsen proper. ]

Oda?

[arasakadogs]

(it is a quick process, undressing and quickly rinsing. oda pulls his hair up with a bit of elastic and wraps his waist with a towel.

the humidity hits him first. the springs are indeed emptied of other patrons and oda sheds his towel and steps into the water. he hears sombra call out and he answers readily.)

Over this way.

[la_sombra]

[Following his voice, Sombra approaches the water, shedding her own towel as she steps in. The warmth feels good and Sombra sighs a little at how it soothes her muscles.

She takes a moment to settle in, before turning her attention to him with a relaxed smile.]

Hey.

[arasakadogs]

(he follows her with his gaze appreciatively as they settle into the warmth.)

Hello. What do you think?

[la_sombra]

[She thinks for a moment, relishing in the feeling.]

It’s nice. Like a sauna but more effective.

[arasakadogs]

(oda hums in agreement and leans against the edge, slipping into the water just to his collarbone and closing his eyes.)

There is a reason there are those who spend hours in these places.

[la_sombra]

[Sombra did much of the same, humming enthusiastically at Oda’s comment.]

I can see why. [Easing a little closer, she drank in the details of his relaxed face greedily.]

What’s the plan after this?

[arasakadogs]

If you are asking to accompany me to my room, (he starts, eyes still closed as he speaks.)

I am considering it.

[la_sombra]

Oh?
[She eases even closer, intimate perhaps but still behaving. For now.]

There goes my plan of inviting you to mine. [She chuckles a little.] How do I convince you, then?

[arasakadogs]

(oda can tell she is closer but still does not open his eyes. he does not mention it but the fact that she is interested in a repeat tryst does wonders for his ego. really his mind is made up but he would not make it so simple.)

I assure you: my room is far better. (a pause, a smirk.) How will you woo me?

[la_sombra]

Woo you, huh?

[Sombra does actually think about it for a moment, mesmerized by the mood that seems to have come over Oda. She looks towards the entrance of the onsen proper before turning her attention back to him.

Her voice goes warm, playing up it's sweetness, her expression coy and inviting. ]

Am I allowed to misbehave, Oda-san?

[arasakadogs]

We are alone. (no cameras, no interruptions until the hour he had requested was up.)

Do as you see fit.

[la_sombra]

[She liked this Oda. Grinning at the invitation, Sombra closed the distance and sat right next to him.]

I thought of you, y’know?

[Her voice is quiet, just for the two of them as she rests her hand on his thigh under the water.]

When I was alone and lonely…

[arasakadogs]

(despite his temporarily cavalier attitude (maybe his vacation is actually helping him unwind), oda still finds himself flushing at sombra's confession. he sets his jaw, trying to decide how to reply.)

And what did you do with your thoughts of me?

[la_sombra]

Your hand on my throat is pretty good inspiration, I won’t lie.

[Turning to whisper into his ear, she continued.]

I wondered what your mouth would be like, how you would taste…

[Her touch drifted a little higher.]

Wanna know what else I thought about?

[arasakadogs]

(oda supresses a shudder but makes no move to stop her. yet. he knows better to move things to his room if she pushes too far here. he tilts his head to catch her lips in a half-kiss, half-bite.)

Tell me.

[la_sombra]

[Sighing against his lips, Sombra drifted her touch just the slightest bit higher.]

I could.

[Pulling away slightly, she gave him a self-satisfied smirk.]

But then again, I could just show you.

[arasakadogs]

You could, (oda concedes but considers if now is when he need stop her. even if they are alone there are bath attendants nearby and the last thing he wants are rumors to start.)

Not here.

[la_sombra]

Not here.

[She echoes. Sombra makes a show of pouting, settling back into the water as if they hadn't been moments from doing something scandalous.]

Then I guess I should come back to yours.

[arasakadogs]

I would say...I have been adequately wooed. (he declares, smiling slightly.)

Do you wish to spend more time here or...?

[la_sombra]

[She hums in thought for a moment, before looking back towards the entrance.]

I think I'm sufficiently relaxed. Shall we?

[arasakadogs]

(oda nods and stands in all his naked glory to wade back towards the water's edge where he had left his towel neatly folded.

this is not like him. not usually. even having been together before...but there is no denying that despite how she vexes him sombra has a definite allure.)

I will wait for you after dressing, (oda advises, glancing her way as he towels dry.)

[la_sombra]

[Sombra doesn't bother hiding the way her gaze rolls over him as he exits the water, recommitting his tattoos to memory. She exits not long after him, drying with her own towel.

She knows it's likely an outlier, considering that Oda is on vacation but she finds herself a little enamored of this more confident side of him.]

(he flashes a smirk, nodding as he breezes back through the curtain into the dressing room.

oda wills himself not to overthink. it is a casual matter, not unlike the first time. and she is not contracted by arasaka this time which goes a ways to making it all feel less complicated. he dresses meticulously into his casual fare: a black button-down dress shirt, slacks, and a red and black patterned haori. one satisfied with his reflection oda exits the spa area and waits just as he had said.)
